LINE FREDENS
Praised for “daring” and “whip-crackling fire” performance, violinist Line Fredens performs throughout Europe regularly. As soloist, she has toured with the Aarhus String Orchestra and has performed in Tivoli Concert Hall in Copenhagen. As a graduate of the Soloist Class of the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, she has received many awards including the Jacob Gade Foundation Award, the Aennchen and Egil Herbys Foundation Award, and the Betty and Valdemar van Hauens Foundation Award. Her teachers include Milan Vitek, Zakhar Bron, Tutter Givskov and Boris Kuschnir. She has also worked with Ruggiero Ricci, Igor Ozim and Isaac Stern. Currently she plays as a principal violinist in the Swedish Malmö Symphony Orchestra.

JANNE FREDENS
Cellist Janne Fredens began playing the cello at age of nine and has since played throughout Europe as recitalist and soloist with orchestras, including the Aarhus String Orchestra and the Vejle Symphony Orchestra, where she was praised as a “very sensitive musician” by the critics for the performance of Tchaikowsky’s Rococo Variations. She has been heard on Danish Radio and Television as well as Czech Television. She is a recipient of the prestigious Jacob Gade Legatet Prize and received a full Danish Government Scholarship to study at the Prague Academy of Music with Miroslav Petras for three years. Janne is a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Aarhus, and she has worked with Ralph Kirshbaum, Torleif Thedeen, Harro Ruijsenaars, Frans Helmerson, Claus Kanngiesser, Zara Nelsova and William Pleeth

MARIANNA SHIRINYAN
Marianna Shirinyan was born in 1978 in Yerevan, Armenia. Beginning her studies at the age of seven, she attended the Tchaikovsky music school in her home town under the guidance of teacher Margarita Hakobian. In 1997 she then went on to study at the Komitas Music College in Yerevan with Igor Javrian, and two years later in Hamburg with Mathias Weber. As a chamber musician, she has received extensive training from Thomas Brandis and Maria Egelhof. Currently Ms. Shirinyan is completing her studies at the Musikhochschule Lübeck with Konrad Elser.
Marianna Shirinyan is already establishing herself as an international concert pianist and chamber musician, working with such renowned artists as Christian Altenburger, Shmuel Ashkenasi, Boris Baraz, Thomas Brandis, Wolfgang Bötcher, Ana Chumachenko, Ivry Gitlis, Ida Haendel, Midori, Pavel Vernikov and having taken part in Radio and Television broadcasts (Bayerische and Norddeutsche, Danish radio and Tele Madrid). She has also been closely involved with the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival as a coach for piano chamber music at the Orchestral Academy. Since 2004 Marianna has been teaching at the chamber music academy of the music competition 'Jugend Musiziert' in Schloss Weikers-heim, Germany, and in addition has held a part-time position as a teacher/coach of piano accompaniment at the Musikhochschule Lübeck in Germany since 1998.
During her musical studies Ms. Shirinyan has participated in master class with Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Conrad Hansen, Leonard Hokanson, Vladimir Krainev, Miriam Fried, Vassili Lobanov, Nikolai Petrov and Menahem Pressler. She has also received acclaim in many national and international competitions. In 1994 she placed first at 'the Youth Chamber Music Competition' in Paderborn, Germany (Junge En-sembles Musizieren), and was a prizewinner at international piano competitions: 'International Competition for Young Pianists' in Ettlingen, Germany, 'Gaillard', France, and twice in Spain - 'Maria Canals' and 'C.I.P.C.E.'. She has also been awarded various scholarships by 'the University of San-Francisco', 'the Villa Musica Mainz', and 'the Marie-Luise Imbusch' and 'Lutz - E. Adolf Foundations'. In 2001 Marianna has received both the prize of 'the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival' and 'the Possehl Music Award'. In 2002 she won the 1st Prize of 'the International Lion's Competition'. Marianna was the highest prizewinner of the chamber music competition 'Premio Vittorio Gui' 2004 in Florence/ Italy, together with the Finnish violinist Laura Vikman. In 2006 Marianna was a prizewinner of 'the P2 Chamber Music Competition' in Copenhagen/Denmark, with the Danish cellist Johan Krarup. The same year she won five (!) prizes at the prestigious international ARD Music Competition in Munich: Second Prize, 'the Audience Prize', 'the Special Prize of Münchner Kammerorchester', 'the Brüder-Busch Prize' and finally 'the Prize of Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks'!
Since the season 2003-2004 Ms. Shirinyan has been a member of Esbjerg Ensemble in Denmark.
